Mocean Wave Energy Converter Visualisation
A 3d wave generator generating waves for a wave energy generator.
A short project working with the team at Mocean (based in Edinburgh) to get the best composition that could represent an overview of the technology. This technology allows a wave energy converter to draw energy from wave power, and transfer that to Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUV’s) on the seafloor via an AUV docking station.
Achieving the image had it’s own specific challenges once again. This time involving creating realistic looking water, cut away to see underneath the surface, and realistic caustics / light effects.
