Ardgowan Whisky Distillery - *New Design* 3D Visualisation Publicity Shots

The building inspired by a german cathedral was divided into three sections. The lit area at the front was at the time of the commission lacking in specifics regarding interior design.

Jessica Skelton, mission controller at Ardgowan approached me to produce a series of four images to use to produce large billboards for a promotional event celebrating the start of construction of a new zero-carbon distillery at Ardgowan, Inverkip, Scotland.
There were two interior shots, showing the stills, washbacks and mashtun. Two exterior (hero) shots showing the whole cathedral like building and it’s environs. There was a tonne of modelling on this project regarding the building, the kit within and of course the crucial flora and fauna. However the results are perhaps some of the best visualisation I have done. There are always elements where you imagine you could have done more, but with a deadline looming sometimes concessions have to be made. Overall, it was just nice to get back to 3d visualisation having spent months working on elearning films prior to this.
