An ongoing series of drawings constructed using a constantly repeating feedback loop between what is being drawn and what lines already exist in the vicinity. Sometimes this kind of looping jumps between different scales.
I called them "space" drawings as, like fractals, there is a paradox to what we perceive as solid form. The closer you move in the less solid the substance appears, until you get down to the atomic level where 99.99% of the space the electrons and protons and neutrons occupy is "empty". Ultimately I want to transform these ideas into animation, where like fractals one can endlessly zoom in, but in contrast to fractals these is more fuzziness, more flow and playful dynamism. Fractals have always struck me as being fundamentally cold and stark, despite their delicacy and beauty.
